Film produksi A24 itu mendominasi ajang penghargaan Academy Awards ke-95 dengan peraihan 7 Piala Oscar 2023 dari 11 kategori nominasi, termasuk di antaranya Best Picture. Michelle Yeoh, pemeran Evelyn dalam filmnya, dinobatkan sebagai Pemeran Utama Perempuan Terbaik. Kemenangan Yeoh mencetak sejarah baru; Yeoh menjadi aktris berkebangsaan Asia pertama yang  berhasil meraih Piala Oscar 2023 untuk kategori Best Actress in A Leading Role.

Histori lain yang tercetak di ajang Academy Awards ke-95 pada tahun ini meliputi nominasi Ana de Armas sebagai aktris Kuba pertama yang masuk dalam nomine kateogir aktris terbaik. De Armas meraih nominasi untuk perannya sebagai Marilyn Monroe di film Blonde.
